Limited, incorporated in 1961. Its founder, the novelist
William Golding, intended the company to be a means of safeguarding
his works, and the rights and income accruing to them.
William Golding Limited still owns the copyright of the vast
majority of the author's works. Current directors
include William Golding's son David, his daughter
Judy Carver and her husband Terrell Carver and family.
