Lord of the Flies has been dramatized by Nigel Williams. This dramatization was the only one approved by William Golding himself. The rights to it are handled by Robert Fox Limited and details can be found on their website www.lordoftheflies.com

Pilot Theatre Company has very successfully toured the UK with a production of the Nigel Williams dramatization. Further information is available on www.pilot-theatre.com

No dramatization of Lord of the Flies other than the Nigel Williams one will be authorised by the author's heirs or publishers. Any other dramatization is an infringement of the author's copyright, and will be the subject of legal proceedings.
