William Golding will be the subject of an Arena documentary to be broadcast on BBC2 at 9pm, on Saturday, 17th March.  The documentary will include interviews with Golding's family and will feature footage from Bishop Wordsworth's School in Wiltshire, where Golding taught for a number of years before becoming a full time writer.

  1. I'm delighted to see this Arena On Golding finally being shown. It was discussed by two of the programmes producers at the Sunday Times Literary Festival last April with Judy Golding and Professor John Carey and I have been waiting with bated breath ever since! If it's as good as previous Arena's it should be a treat and a welcome return to the television for WG.
