Exeter awarded UNESCO City of Literature Status

Exeter has been awarded UNESCO City of Literature Status, and becomes one of only 66 cities across the world to become part of the Creative Cities Network. The University of Exeter was involved in the bid, and the university’s library holds all William Golding’s manuscripts as part of its Special Collections. William Golding Limited are delighted that Exeter have received this honour, and send their congratulations to all involved in the successful bid.
